Collective consciousness and faith ~ where science meets spirituality

"Nothing is impossible to those that believe." - Jesus Christ

The power of faith has been gaining a lot of scientific credibility over the past few years with books such as "The Brain That Changes Itself". This however, is old news to those who have studied and taken serious the great leaders from the past. One of these leaders and rebels I would like to focus on is Jesus Christ who, in my opinion, clearly demonstrated to the world the incredible power of faith individually but more so collectively.

The majority of us know of the documented miracles he performed, perhaps the most famous are the healing of the blind and the raising of the dead. What most of us don't seem to realize though is that Jesus implies that the energy of their faith is vital in order for the equation of their physical health to be realized once again. This has been recorded on several occasions in the book of Matthew alone.

8:13 "Go your way and as YOU have BELIEVED, so let it be to you."
9:29 "According to YOUR FAITH let it be to you."
13:58 "Now he (Jesus) did not do many great works there because of THEIR UNBELIEF."
15:28 "Great is YOUR FAITH! Let it be to you as you desire."

This shows that it is a collective energy of faith that heals which leads me to collective consciousness and the scientific breakthrough in our understanding of life and the world as we know it. Collective consciousness is another phenomenon that is gaining scientific support, primarily from the field of quantum physics. What collective consciousness is, is simply the mind/energy of a group of people collectively. This, according to scientists Greg Braden, Amit Goswami and others, explains "natural" disasters, major world events and just about all interactions within society and our planet.

On September 11th, 2001 two satellites called G.O.E.S. (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) which measure magnetic fields on our planet and send back readings every 30 minutes, sent back data that was literally off the charts. Scientists at the time did not know why this could be, but in time after learning of the twin towers collapsing they again checked the data finding that at precisely 15 minutes after the first plane hit was when the first spike in the readings took place.

To explain this in more detail, here is an excerpt from the book "Fractal Time":

From a location of about 22,300 miles above the equator, GOES-8 detected the first surge, followed by an upward trend in the readings that topped out at nearly 50 units (nanoteslas) higher than any that had been typical for the same time previously. The time was 9a.m. eastern standard time, 15 minutes after the first plane hit the World Trade Center and about 15 minutes before the second impact.

The correlation between the events and the reading was uncanny. And it was
undeniable. In light of the data, two questions had to be asked: Were the attacks on the World Trade Center and the satellite readings actually related? If so, what was the link? It's the answer to the second question that sparked the research, and the ambitious initiative that has followed.

Subsequent studies by Princeton University and the Institute of HeartMath, an innovative nonprofit institution formed in 1991 to pioneer research and development of heart-based technologies, have found that the correlation between the GOES readings and the events of 9/11 are more than coincidences. Following the discovery that the satellites had recorded similar spikes during events of global focus in the past, such as the death of Princess Diana, the factor that seemed to connect the readings was clear: the indications pointed to the human heart.
Specifically, it's the heart-based emotions of the world's population that results from such events that seems to be influencing the magnetic fields of the earth. What makes this discovery so significant is that those fields are now linked to everything from the stability of the climate to peace between nations.

Scientists know the physical world is made up of electrical and magnetic fields (electromagnetic fields) the reason why I mention this is because our brains and more so our hearts give off this same energy. The obvious theory then, and in many peoples eyes conclusion, is we can create our lives and world through our hearts feeling/energy which has been well documented as generating the strongest magnetic field in the body, close to 5,000 times that of the brain. This energy field has been measured to extend FAR beyond the physical body, so far in fact, that current technology cannot capture it, some scientists however, propose that it could possibly be miles/kilometers!

This leads me back to that cool free thinking rebel named Jesus. There is a story documented by Luke, a follower of Jesus, where a girl dies and Jesus is called upon. Being that Jesus has a deeper level of understanding, he calmly replies, "Do not be afraid; only believe and she will be made well". What follows is one of the earliest captured works of collective consciousness that seems to have escaped many scholars:

Luke 8:51-55 When he came into the house, he permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. Now all mourned and wept for her; but he said, "Do not weep; she is not dead but sleeping." And they ridiculed him, knowing that she was dead. But he put them all outside, took her by the hand and called saying, "Little girl, arise." Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately."

Jesus who understood the power of energy on another level kept the positive energy of his students (Peter, James, and John) present and made the negative energy leave. He took the girls hand which is a portrayal of love (positive energy) and the girl spirit/energy returned to her.

Furthermore to reinforce this theory, in the book of Acts there is another documentation recorded which is almost identical to the one I just mentioned. Peter, who was a follower of Jesus, was faced with a similar situation:

Acts 9:39-41 "Then Peter arose and went with them. When he had come, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him weeping, showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas (the women who was dead) had made while she was with them. But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, "Tabitha arise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up."

when Peter got there, the energy from the widows hearts was depressing and negative. Peter obviously understood the power of faith. Faith is comprised of energy and feeling and this as well is a two way street, you can have faith in hate, lack, limitation, death, basically bad energy or you can have faith in love, abundance, freedom ,happiness, life, basically good energy. When he saw that the widows unconsciously were filled with negative energy he asked them to leave. Once he did, it was only his positive energy and he was able to revive Tabitha. There is also the point that he prayed which many scholars argue, when done in an affirmative fashion and not a pleading one, is direct access to collective consciousness and the mind of God.

This my friends is where spirituality and science meet. We are ALL THE SAME energy and collectively this is ONE energy. Regardless of social status, ethnicity, where you are from, or ANYTHING else this fact has been proven by science and spiritual leaders such as Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed and many others. All prejudices, judgments and so on are LEARNT behaviors, they are false beliefs which result in a false reality. These things are perspectives and we know perspectives are all limited meaning that ignorance is to be found in prejudices because they are based on limited experience (please read my other blog-GOD, IGNORANCE AND PERSPECTIVE to get a better understanding) Where there is ignorance and prejudice it leads to confusion and miscommunication, then comes anxiety and frustration which we know doesn't feel good in our hearts and that is because it is not our natural state of being. On the other side of this is friendship, respect, gratitude, compassion and love which all FEEL good in our hearts because that is our natural state of being.

ALL humans want to belong to something, this is why people cling to certain "crowds", ethnicity's, religions, music genres, etc (which are unconsciously fed to the sheeple from the media) not realizing that it is our energy/souls yearning to be ONE.

In conclusion I highly recommend you turn off your TV and open your heart and mind. I suggest you take a stand against believing in fear, anger, prejudice and any other negative FEELING that the media, government or anyone else is trying to feed you. So what if someone is rude to you, that means their heart inside is in bad shape and although they may be shouting out of fear, anger or hatred, their heart is whispering, please give me peace, friendship, love....please tell me the world isn't out to get me. We are all one, regardless of the learnt prejudices we have come to BELIEVE in through ignorance.

Do you want to feel happy, be appreciated, respected, loved and know peace in your heart???? So do I..... so does every ONE.
